G. Michael O’Hara Design & Build, LLC is a full service home design & construction company. In the mid 80’s, G. Michael O’Hara earned the Degree of Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Tennessee. Since that time, G. Michael O’Hara has designed and built hundreds of home in the East Tennessee area. He specializes in lake and mountain homes and has built homes in Blount, Loudon, Knox, Monroe, Roane & Sevier Counties.

His expertise in placement of homes on challenging sites, whether they be hanging off the side of a mountain or requiring a trolley to get down to the lake because of the steep slope. G. Michael O’Hara is a hands on Contractor, working everyday at the job site, mainly overseeing, but in every way seeing to the business at hand in each custom home.

G. Michael O’Hara Design & Build, LLC is a family owned & operated company. G. Michael O’Hara and Leigh, his wife of 33 years, have been working together in the business since it’s origination. Leigh manages the office work and assisting with the scheduling as needed. Their three grown children work with them also. They each work independently in the construction industry, offering their services to the company in the capacity of interior design, excavation, and carpentry.

G. Michael & Leigh O’Hara enjoy spending time with their 8 grandchildren ranging in ages from 4-13, all of which are truly life’s blessings. They enjoy the mountains and the lake, old car renovations, and UT Football. GO VOLS!!"
